Welcome to the Crown Sports Indoor Baseball Tournament Series!

We’re thrilled to have you join us for a fantastic day of baseball action! Here’s everything you need to know to ensure a smooth and exciting tournament:

Tournament Dates & Divisions

  • Saturday, Nov. 22nd – 8U
  • Sunday, Dec. 6th – 9U
  • Monday, Dec 13th – 10U
 
  • Minimum Games: Each team will play at least 3 games.
  • Game Duration: Each game will last up to 1 hour. Please note, no new inning will start after 50 minutes to keep things on schedule.
  • Bats: WOOD or USA BASEBALL BATS ONLY

Pre-Game Preparation:

  • Warm-Up: Teams will have 1 hour before each game to get ready. This includes:
    • 30 Minutes: Training Field 7 for practice.
    • 30 Minutes: Batting Cages for additional hitting practice.

Team Details:

  • Roster Size: Each team can have up to 14 players. Everyone bats!
  • Field: A maximum of 9 players on the field at any time.

Tournament Logistics:

  • Entry Fee: $400 per team.
  • Maximum Number of Teams: 6 teams.

Tournament Rules:

1. 8u through 10u can play with 9 in the field. 7-9 is acceptable.
2. You can bat your entire roster.
3. Free substitutions in the field.
4. Courtesy runners are allowed.
5. 10 maximum runs allowed per inning
6. The run rule is 10 after 4 innings.
7. Teams are asked to move games along as this is time limit ball. Please be ready to play
within 90 seconds of the 3rd out of the previous half-inning.
8. Games will last approx 60 minutes with a max of 6 innings. A new inning may not start after
the 50-minute mark.
9. Pitchers are allowed 5 warm-up pitches at the beginning of the game (5th being throw down)
and 3 warm-up pitches (3rd being throw down) in subsequent innings. If coaches come out to
catch, these pitches will count as well.
10. No infield fly rule.
11. No pitch limit. Coach and parent responsibility
12. Net Rules: All Fair balls are in play. The ball may be caught for an out if it hits off the net.
All Foul balls are dead once they hit the net.
13. The home run fence line is the top of the letters “Better Athletes Better People” on the back
wall only.
